Light Night Volunteers

Would you like to be part of one of the largest free light festivals in the country?

Are you keen to get behind the scenes at a world-class festival, set at the heart of one of the most exciting centres of arts and culture in Europe?

In 2019 our dedicated volunteers developed teamwork, confidence and communication skills, as well as getting the chance to boost their CV and make new friends.

This will be my fourth year volunteering for Light Night Leeds and I'm pretty sure I get more and more excited every year! Light Night is for everyone. It not only brings art to the public, but it's a festival that recognises that it can use its position to help bring forward important social issues or to help mark historic events, such as in 2018 celebrating the 100 years since woman were allowed to vote. I'm really eager to see what new pieces of art or installations from artists all over the world there will be this year.
