In medieval times the town of Leedis had six wooden gates designed to delay unwanted visitors, collect tolls, and protect the city.
Legend says that for many years the West “Bar”, positioned near Boar Lane and City Square, was guarded by a dragon. However, when the gates were no longer required, the dragon’s use became obsolete. Unable to kill the fearsome beast, the citizens of Leedis captured and chained it in a dungeon, and left it to be forgotten.
Today, hundreds of years later, the dragon has awoken and is seeking vengeance. This innovative and spectacular projection from the artists at Create Studios in Belgium combines 3D video mapping, CGI visuals and live pyrotechnics.
